The Wedding of Michelle Bouris and Steven Greene
Saturday, 3 February
Private Home - Portsea - Victoria
Held at the family holiday home, the Bouris – Greene wedding was a celebration of style. With music being the central theme, the day progressed with an ongoing concert of performers. The groom arrived to the theme from "Rocky" followed by the bride to the original Charles Aznavour version of "She". The Wolfgramm Sisters performed an accapella version of Shania Twain's "From this Moment" and in a spectacular end to the ceremony, a 30 voice gospel choir performed "Oh! Happy Day!"
The music continued until dawn with Angela Labrandi, Kate Ceberano, Phil Ceberano, Planet Groove's 16 piece line up and DJ Stick Mareebo. The groom performed a song he had written and rehearsed for months in secret as a dedication to his bride. And, in the early hours of the morning, a group of the grooms AFL football friends performed a spontaneous version of "The Music Men", a fitting conclusion to an extraordinary wedding.
