The 2011 Premier's Sustainability Awards proved to be a veritable feast of local sustainable produce, designed by the MCEC’s executive chef Shaun Bowles and featuring the decanting of a barrique of the Ashley Estate 2006 Shiraz.

Host Catriona Rowntree was the perfect lively choice and kept everyone from the Premier Ted Baillieu to Keynote Speaker S. Richard Fedrizzi on their toes.

The surprise performance by the ever sustainable Ross Wilson & the Peaceniks brought the house down with not one but two encores; a fitting addition to a prestigious event rewarding Victorians for going the extra distance to support long term sustainability.
