The Tivoli - Brisbane, Queensland.

The beat of the tribal drum called guests to the 2011 Ovation ‘Le Bal D’Afrique’, held once again at the iconic Tivoli Theatre.

Hosted by Ovcare Ambassador Rebecca Maddern, Ovation was an unforgettable evening where fine wine, exquisite dining and breathtaking entertainment provided the backdrop for support of ovarian cancer research and test development programs being conducted at the University of Queensland’s Centre for Clinical Research.

The sights and sounds of the African plains were interpreted through drums, dance and fire thanks to the talents of Rhythm Konnections, SoulFire, RioRhythmics, and DLDC Dance School who kept guests spellbound throughout the evening.

The live and silent auctions also generated excitement amongst guests who were all eager to support this worthy cause.  The highlight was a stunning 18ct white gold diamond ring as the raffle prize!!!

To end the night, Radio Club Band had guests on their feet with their soulful tunes and dance floor favourites.
