The Moroccan Nights theme of this year’s Lend Lease Christmas party was perfectly complimented by a balmy Melbourne evening.

When guests arrived at Luminare, it was to an unexpected greeting by two friendly camels.

While the brave had their photos taken with the camels, the truly courageous fed them carrots!

From sipping cocktails overlooking Port Phillip Bay, guests entered a desert oasis where palm trees, flowing drapes, colourful lanterns and fragrant incense enveloped them in the vibrancy of Morocco.  With henna tattoos, tarot card readings and the sensual, seductive moves of belly dancers, guests had the full magical Moroccan experience.

Dancing and drinks overlooking the Melbourne city skyline provided the perfect ending to the Lend Lease celebrations for 2011.
