Fashion + Aid 2011
True to form, the 4th annual celebrity packed Fashion+Aid was an outstanding success, not only raising money for the Lighthouse Foundation but also giving new designer labels such as Jonte, Coco Riche, Robb&Lulu, Cadeau Republic, Mossee, Seven Souls, Anthea and NathanPaul the opportunity to intermingle with iconic labels Wayne Cooper, Bettina Liano and JASONGRECH.
The Chantel Runting choreographed feature parade seemed to have a cast of 1000’s, set to an 80’s theme and complete with silk aerialist, roller skater, live guitarist, vocalists, dancers on scaffolding, pulsing strobe lighting, a snow storm of flutter fetti and, of course, the 80’s dance craze, break dancers.
Highlights of the night were plentiful with Australian Idol winner Stan Walker and dance band Collective proving to be as popular as ever with the crowd.
