The hottest ticket in town for the 2010 Spring Racing Carnival was to the Derby After Dark party.

Held at the spectacular rooftop Luminare in South Melbourne, the torrential rain during the day did little to dampen the guests' enthusiasm.

Internationally famous Moonee Ponds housewife Dame Edna Everage entertained in her own inimitable style, no-one was spared the critique of the Dame!  It was an incredible opportunity to see an icon at work up close and personal.

Leo Sayer astounded with his energy and reminded the guests of his prolific talent as he worked through his staggering list of hits.  And, DJ Dean Cherny kept the dance floor hopping until close.

Cabaret style seating gave the Big Group the opportunity to showcase their delicious food, an amazing array of taste sensations capped off with Edna Elderberry Fizz Cocktails.

An eclectic array of movers and shakers made up the guests list, from corporate high flyers to stars of the entertainment and sporting arenas......From Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Geoff and Brynne Edelsten....to....Rebecca Twigley and Jennifer Hawkins.....from ”Packed to the Rafters” newly engaged James Watson and Jessica Marais to Liam Hemsworth and.Eamon Sullivan.

An incredible start to the Flemington Carnival....even the weather joined in the spirit of the night and put a stop to the rain.
